Applying Notes to a Document

You can add, edit, or delete notes on a document.

Note: Notes cannot be included when exporting to CSV from the Document List, nor during document export or production as an Export View Profile.

The total number of notes attached to a document appear in parenthesis in the Notes section.

To add notes a document

  1. Open the document in the Document Viewer.
  2. Click the Notes section drop arrow.
  3. Enter the Note, then select the level of Privacy.
  4. Click Add.
  5. To add additional notes, repeat the steps above.

To edit notes a document

  1. Open a document in the Document Viewer.
  2. Click the Notes section drop arrow.
  3. Locate the note to edit and click (the edit icon).
  4. Edit the Note and level of Privacy accordingly.
  5. Click Save.

To delete notes a document

  1. Open a document in the Document Viewer.
  2. Click the Notes section drop arrow.
  3. Locate the note to delete and click (the delete icon).
  4. When prompted to delete, click Delete.
