Applying Highlights

Highlights can be applied to selected areas of an image.

To apply a highlight to select area

  1. Open a document in the Document Viewer.
  2. Click the Image tab. (If no image is displayed, click Convert Image . On the Convert Image window, click Convert.)
  3. Click the Toggle drawing highlights icon .
  4. Use the crosshair mouse pointer to drag the highlight area into position and adjust its size to cover the text you want to highlight.
  5. Click the Toggle drawing highlights icon, then double-click the redacted area.
  6. On the Highlight details window, enter the following.
  7. Field Description
    Background color Select the background color of the highlight.
    Background color opacity Drag to set the shade of the highlight color.
    Border color Select border color of the highlight.
    Privacy settings

    Select the level of privacy of the highlight:

    • Public: All users.
    • Firm: A group of predefined users.
    • User: Only the user who created the highlight.
    Save as default

    Select to save these settings for future highlights.

  8. Click Save.

To display or hide a highlight

  1. Open the document on the Document Viewer.
  2. Click the Image tab.
  3. Right-click the highlight and select from the following:
    • Hide: Hide a currently displayed highlight.
    • Hide All: Hide all currently displayed highlights.
    • Show: Display the currently hidden highlight.
    • Show All: Display all currently hidden highlights.

To edit a highlight

  1. Open the document on the Document Viewer.
  2. Click the Image tab.
  3. Right-click the highlight and update the Highlight details window accordingly.

To delete a highlight

  1. Open the document on the Document Viewer.
  2. Click the Image tab.
  3. Right-click the highlight you want to delete and select Delete.
