25.02.00 Release Notes

The Nebula 25.02.00 release contains the following enhancements:

  • Introduced generative AI summarization for medical records.
  • A new viewer mode is introduced called “AI Summary” that enables side-by-side review and cross-referencing between the original document and the generated summary.
  • Depending on permissions granted, AI summarization can be run for a single document in the viewer, or multiple documents using a new mass action.
  • Summary text of the documents as well as main themes for the documents can be exported as text and metadata, respectively.
  • AI Summarization for general records – email, business content, etc – will follow in a subsequent release.
  • Decoupled the container extraction step from data upload tasks to dramatically shorten the user-time required to stage data and increase stability and resiliency of large data transfers.
  • Users may also now navigate away from the Processing and/or File Browser UI without disrupting upload or unzip task progress.
  • Redesigned the Keyword management page in both Cull and Review.
  • Keyword Reports page is now a 2-pane layout complete with column filtering to better support projects with many categories.
  • Renamed “Keyword Name” to “Alias” and de-emphasized the usage of this feature, putting more emphasis on the keyword query itself.
  • Alias is a valuable feature in certain use cases but is now purely optional and no longer auto-populates with each new keyword entry.
  • Redesigned ‘Add Keywords’ (previously Add Terms) and eliminated the need for two separate menu options for single vs. multiple keywords.
  • Add Keywords now supports full deduplication, extra validation protection, better support for uploading or copy/paste lists of terms, exportable error reporting, and more. Additional information can be found on Nebula Help.
  • Redesigned ‘Run Keywords’ (previously Reindex Keywords) and added additional column filtering for better control over multi-category tasks.
  • Improved the loading performance and error handling capabilities of the customizable Review Dashboard cards.
  • Resolved issue with viewing days on the workflow reports graph when a date range was used longer than the original view.
