24.11.00 Release Notes
The Nebula 24.11.00 release contains the following enhancements:
- Introduced single sign-on (SSO) authentication capabilities for Firms (organizations) using Microsoft Entra ID (previously Azure Active Directory).
- Requires the OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocol.
- Firms can be set to require SSO, have it optional on the user-level, or disabled.
- MFA enrollment for SSO users is handled by the Firm’s existing IDP authentication settings and utilities.
- Users within a Firm can be updated en masse using a CSV upload feature.
- Introduced *.NEML, a proprietary file format for seamless ingestion of chat conversations into Nebula.
- Currently, NEML files can be created using ReadySuite.
- NEML files go through Nebula Processing similar to EML files, and any attachments are retained as family members of the NEML parent file.
- Consolidated chat conversations are properly rendered by the standard Nebula HTML viewer in Review.
- Inline attachments such as images, video, or audio snippets, will appear in the correct location within the conversation, when possible.
- No new fields were added to support NEML; metadata is mapped to existing Nebula fields, some of which are general purpose fields like dates and participants, and some of which are chat-specific like Chat Thread ID.
- Introduced changes to document list Attribute Reports
- Combined NLP Entity attribute reports into a single combination report for all Entity types and updated formatting.
- Removed unnecessary database information from report.
- Added Field Name information to the Tags report option and updated formatting.
- Removed unnecessary database information from report.
- Removed Keywords option (Keywords is its own report type).
- Removed Transcripts option (deprecated feature).
- Removed PDF report option and corresponding Sort selector (deprecated feature).
- Added resizability control for the document viewer <> coding pane separator.
- Added zoom and rotation controls to the HTML viewer toolbar.
- Added support to delete a predictive coding project (for users with adequate permissions).
- Improved Nebula Processing handling for “can’t import families” errors.
- Updated Nebula’s web browser favicon image.
- Resolved issue where renaming a tag used as a predictive coding classifier could result in training session issues.
- Resolved issue where double-clicking a redaction box in the image viewer could break the ability to delete a redaction using the keyboard.
- Resolved issue where an auto-incremented Processing collection name could conflict with a manually named collection that came before it.
