21.03.26 Release Notes

The Nebula 21.03.26 release contains the following enhancements:

  • Introducing the new Nebula User Management system for total access control within Repositories and Matters.

  • Each user is assigned to a Firm (organization).
  • Select users from a single Firm are used to construct well-defined User Groups.
  • Assignments dictate the scope of Repository & Matter access for User Groups.
  • Finely-tunable permission controls allow for extremely customizable feature access within each User Group Assignment.
  • Powerful template features and the ability to copy specified User Group attributes to a new User Group.
  • Significant organizational improvements to the Nebula UI Navigation Menu provides a more logical and natural user experience that seamlessly flows across the entire Nebula data lifecycle.
  • Updates to the Nebula UI framework and associated UI component improvements.
  • Partial transition to the new Docker-based Nebula job system for critical services (full transition in Q2 2021).
  • Added client email domain support for communications in Nebula Legal Hold (NLH).
  • The promotion bar in Cull now defaults to “None” (no extra calculations) to better support multi-Matter repositories and substantially improve performance when running searches and performing ECA tasks.
  • Searches now enforce an implicit time-zone adjustment (based on Import settings at the Repository-level) when users submit date queries.
  • Added new dynamic fields to support production requirements for deduplicated data

  • Custodian - All (renamed from All Custodians)
  • Various updates to the Native Spreadsheet Redaction (NSR) viewer mode, including:
  • Redaction navigation arrows now cycle through all Worksheet redactions, regardless of label type.
  • Updated button labels for applying and removing redactions from full worksheets and worksheet tabs.
  • Users are now prompted with a confirmation dialog when bulk deleting redactions from the worksheet sidebar and summary page.
  • Improved iconography, tooltips, and navigation for users moving between the worksheet, file properties, and summary pages.
  • The “default” Coding Form that displays all available Fields/Tags in a Matter has been retired and will no longer be accessible on new or existing Matters.
